Description

This 1972 Allied Seawind is a rugged full-keel cruising ketch, for sale in Danvers, Massachusetts. Jasmine is a solid full-keel cruiser whose sistership was the first fiberglass boat to circumnavigate. She has had a thorough refit: all decks recored, all standing and running rigging replaced, deck rot removed with through-deck fittings epoxied and sealed, new deck paint and non-skid, and a full electrical refit in 2018. Equipment includes a Norvane self-steering wind vane with wheel-drum attachment, a Westerbeke W30 25hp engine, a Balmar SmartGauge, an ICOM M700Pro SSB radio, a 35-watt solar panel, a new teak bowsprit, custom Seafrost engine-driven refrigeration, a new Dickinson diesel heater, a Simpson Lawrence manual windlass, and a 44 lb Rocna with 175 ft of chain. Sails include a 140% jib, 160% genoa, and battened main and mizzen, serviced annually by North Sails. She measures 30' LOA, 8.5' beam and 4.5' draft, with a fiberglass hull and ketch rig. Asking $12,000. Contact the seller for full details or to arrange a viewing.
