Cimba is a Fenwick Williams-designed catboat built by Herbert Baum in 1965, with a mahogany-on-white-oak hull and laid teak decks. She's powered by a low-hours 2013 Beta Marine 25hp diesel, sleeps four, and has an enclosed head with 56-58" standing headroom. The galley includes a cast-iron wood stove with oven, an alcohol stove, and a 12-volt refrigerator, and she carries a CQR and fisherman anchor for ground tackle. Her maintenance record is long and well documented, with a new teak deck (1998), hull re-wooding (1999), a replaced centreboard (2001), new running rigging (2005), and a rebuilt rudder and repaired gaff (2006), among much else.
