This 1935 Cape Cod Knockabout is a beautifully restored classic wooden sloop in excellent condition, for sale in Sarasota, Florida. Mayalinda is a 1935 Cape Cod Knockabout in the Lake George fin-keel version, built by the Cape Cod Shipbuilding Company. She completed a full restoration in Fall 2023 that included a new centerline, laminated white-oak frames, new garboards, deck planks, and a canvas deck. She is all bronze-fastened and retains her original antique bronze hardware; apart from the garboards, all of the planking is original. The tiller, coaming, and seating are original under ten coats of varnish, with twelve coats on the original spars, and the polished bronze hardware is being allowed to weather to a rich patina. She comes with two sets of sails and a tandem trailer with four new tires, hubs, bearings, and LED lighting. She measures 18' LOA with a 6' beam and 3' draft, on a wood hull. Asking $11,900.
