This 1979 Cheoy Lee 41 is a strong-boned project ketch in fair condition, for sale in St. Augustine, Florida. A Richards-designed Cheoy Lee 41 that has had extensive recent mechanical and structural work, offered honestly as a project with very strong bones. In 2022 she received a complete bottom job down to bare glass with new barrier coat, fairing, and paint, rebuilt steering, and a rebuilt Westerbeke 35hp diesel on all-new aluminum stringers and motor mounts, plus a new shaft, coupler, dripless seal, steering packing, control box, and Teleflex cables. Also new: galley sink and pump, lead-acid batteries with a pro charger, and a Rule bilge pump and relay. All systems function including water and hot water; the Dometic fridge/freezer compressor needs a rebuild. The wooden spars were rotted and removed in 2021 with a plan to replace them in aluminum, and every original block, tackle, and turnbuckle from Cheoy Lee is included. She needs a new mast and has a few soft spots on the cabin top to address. Selling due to family circumstances.
